ACTD OFFICAL DRESSAGE COMPETION 2 AUGUST 2020

It was so good to be competing again at ACTD Offical Dressage Competition - our first competition since January!!!

BHM Spanish Amor and Rebecca Walshe did a great job in the PSG and placed second.

Well nothing like going from one start in Novice straight to medium with BHM Summer Rain and Rebecca Walshe looking fantastic in the Medium 4a and 4b! They won the official open 4a and placed second in the official open 4b.  My young Galero son is maturing beautifully!

ACT Showjumping Championships 1 March 2020

Congratulations to BHM Summer Rain and Jimmy Walshe winning the 80cm and placing 5th in the 90 cm (huge classes!) at the ACT Showjumping Championships on 1 March 2020!

Our rising 4yr old Spanish Warmblood by 007 out of BHM Black Elegancia has began is his ridden career. A maternal brother to BHM Spanish Amor and BHM BY Design, Bond has a lot to live up to. With three fabulous paces and a temperament to die for we are looking forward to this boy joining the BHM competition team full time in the near future.

BHM BLACK ELEGANCIA IS IN FOAL!

BHM Black Elegancia is the dam of BHM Spanish Amor, BHM By Design and BHM Spanish Bond. She is now confirmed in foal to a new imported Warmblood stallion! The name of the stallion will be made public soon! We are so excited for the foal, due in November 2020!

BHM Black Elegancia in one on my first homebred mares. She is a Pure Spanish (PRE) mare who as a young horse was competed very successfully in open dressage with Rebecca Walshe. Elli was the first PRE to compete at the prestigious Dressage of the Stars. Truly a wonderful mare!

BHM SUMMER RAIN

BHM Summer Rain's first start in Novice at the ACT Dressage Classics today, saw him score over 70% which place him and Rebecca Walshe second . What a great result!

Southern NSW R.P.G Pony Classic Show - 10 November 2019

On 10 November 2019,  Rebecca Walshe and I took a quick trip to Goulburn to the Southern NSW R.P.G Pony Classic Show with BHM Diana. Diana placed 2nd in her Open Led which is a great result against much older horses and second in her led part bred yearling filly class. 

Boy there are some gorgeous ponies!!!!

As usual Diana did not put a foot wrong! We were home well and truly before lunch which made it the perfect outing!

BHM Diana's first show - Queanbeyan Agricultural Show 8 November 2019.

BHM Diana and Rebecca Walshe had a great day at Queanbeyan Show winning Reserve Led Open Pony and then winning the Led Hunter Pony (no Championship). 

What a great way to start Diana's career! This is her first show and first time away from home and she was just a star! Her temperament is to die for!

BHM SUMMER RAIN WINS HIS SECOND EVENT IN HIS FIRST SEASON!

Another fabulous result with my Galero son, BHM Summer Rain and Jimmy Walshe winning their section at the Gundagai horse trials today! With a Dressage score of 78.33%, clear show jumping and cross country, I couldn’t be prouder!

BHM SPANISH LOVE SOLD TO NEW ZEALAND

A huge congratulations to Sue Abram from Auckland, New Zealand on the purchase of BHM Spanish Love! Alice has arrived safely and settled into her new home beautifully. We wish Sue and Alice all the best and hope Sue will keep us informed of their progress.

CANBERRA HORSE TRIALS 17 MARCH 2019

What an achievement for BHM Summer Rain and Jimmy Walshe winning their very first one day event at the Canberra Horse Trails!  I am such a proud owner/breeder!

BHM SUMMER RAIN - THE NEW KID ON THE SHOW TEAM!

BHM Summer Rain is my last Galero partbred that was bred here at BHM.  Rain is 4yrs old and is now owned in partnership with BHM and Jimmy/Rebecca Walshe.  He has now joined the BHM/Walshe competition team and what a way to start with winning both of his official Preliminary Dressage Tests at ACTD on 3 March 2019! This was Rain’s very first competition!
